The Meridian is an innovatively designed bolt-on load cell system that
provides the complete weight of wheels, wagons and trains by weighing
each individual axle as it passes over the system. The information
derived is interpreted by a digital weight terminal and displayed to
the operator through a control computer.
Approved for trade use, the Meridian can be fully automatic or manually
operated. Features include software written to your specification that
can include data processing, user interfaces and reports, automatic e-mail,
online system monitoring and long distance data transmission and the
ability to integrate with existing systems.
Due to its unique construction, it causes minimum down time during
installation. There is no need for concrete pits or foundations, the only
ground work required is the moving of critical sleepers, drilling of
the rails and the installation of digital track switches.
